The Municipality of Trent Hills is set to receive a total of $7,580,496 from the Community, Culture and Recreation infrastructure funding stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) toward the construction of the Campbellford Recreation and Wellness. A big Thank You to the CSCF Youth Advisory Council who organized an Easter Egg Hunt for students in Grades JK - 4 last Saturday at Kennedy Park. They had over 100 pre-registrations come in from Campbellford schools for the event. This event raised over $500 for the Flourish Campaign!
Thank you YAC members, CSCF Board Advisor Patrick Muldoon, as well as local businesses and sponsors for providing prizes for the kids. Also a big thank you to our local police station for lending the Easter bunny costumes.

A Public Information Centre for the Field House in Hastings took place on April 16, 2014. Click here to see the presentation by Aecom. There are two options for the Field house shown, one with the original proposed field layout and one with an additional 60 ft added to the length of the building for a hard surface sport court flooring system. There are sample pictures of the support buildings and the airlock storage area, as well as sample views of the inside of the support building looking toward the dome, and from inside the dome to the support building.

That is the gist of an informal sit down conversation which included Flourish campaign supporter and honourary chair Bob Bennett and his wife Ann with Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation (CSCF) Executive Director Martha Murphy.
The informal dining room get together was videotaped so it can be put on You-Tube and the Flourish website to get the word out to residents of Trent Hills that the campaign is now moving to the next stage -public awareness
