In 1960, Mrs. Mary Cook believed that people with intellectual disabiliities should have access to services and supports in their own community. Since then we have continued to experience tremendous change and growth and we now provide service and support to approximately 140 individuals and their families throughout Northumberland County. Our Mission is to provide food for people in need, through the operation of a community based food bank, to deliver these services with a volunteer staff and to enable clients to retain their self-respect. Read more>>
We were formed by a group of interested community members to help raise awareness of the purpose of the Library within our community and to raise funds for the Library Expansion.
